Case #591 | Xanthelasma | Cholesterol Deposits on Eyelids: This Orlando man noticed yellow cholesterol deposits on his upper eyelids. We treated with the DOT CO2 laser to remove them without scarring. This can be done as an outpatient in about 30 minutes under local anesthesia. The process is hereditary and not an indication of elevated cholesterol levels
