Proven Techniques, Outstanding Results
Dysport is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, also called glabellar lines.
Dysport With a Facial Aesthetic Specialist
Frown lines result from repeated use of the muscles that control facial expression. After Dysport is injected into these muscles, the medicine prevents them from contracting. This leads to a more refreshed and youthful look for our Orlando patients. The effect of Dysport is similar to that of BOTOX® Cosmetic.
Some men and women seeking Dysport treatment may also benefit from injectable dermal fillers such as RADIESSE® or Restylane®.
“Dysport’s rapid response to wrinkles could be the deciding factor for people looking to improve their appearance before a big social event or meeting.”
– Dr. Gross
How Much Does Dysport Cost?
In general, a Dysport treatment at our Orlando practice costs anywhere from $250 to $600. We price Dysport the “unit”, which is simply a fixed quantity of the product. While the unit cost is fixed, each patient may not require the same number of units to achieve his or her desired results. Therefore, a treatment may cost patients with more significant concerns more than patients who have minor wrinkles. During your consultation, we will give you a quote that is personalized to your specific needs and desired results.
How Long Does It Take to See Dysport Results?
Dysport often acts faster than BOTOX Cosmetic. BOTOX generally takes at least 3 to 5 days to work, while Dysport often begins to work within 1 to 2 days. In some cases, wrinkles begin to fade after only 24 hours.
How Long Do Dysport Results Last?
While patient experiences vary, Dysport injections may keep wrinkles at bay for 6 months to 1 year, as opposed to the approximate 3-month to 6-month timeframe associated with BOTOX.

Learn MoreWhat Are Possible Side Effects of Dysport?
Keep in mind that Dysport may have some downsides. BOTOX manufacturer Allergan points out that Dysport may be more likely to cause antibody formation. A person’s body develops antibodies when it recognizes a foreign invader and attacks it. If you develop antibodies to Dysport, your body will neutralize the toxin, potentially preventing it from working. Ask us about whether Dysport or BOTOX will better serve your needs.
“Face muscles are complex, and a thorough understanding of contracting and counterbalancing muscles is needed. This relationship must be understood before injecting Dysport.”
– Dr. Gross
