Case Details
CT Scan of Nose. Anatomical Education. These are before images of patients Dr. Gross has helped with surgery. They demonstrate commonly found deviations of the nasal septum, which can cause obstructed breathing. Some are congenital cases and many are related to a history of trauma.
The CT on the left shows a septal deviation to the Right and a bone spur. The CT on the right shows two problems: a deviated septum and an enlarged turbinate. Both areas are corrected in surgery to improve breathing.
Surgeon: Edward J. Gross, MD
