Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1042

This 20-year-old patient had broken his nose twice as a teenager while playing basketball. His nose healed at a crooked slant following those injuries, and the fractures caused breathing issues through his left nostril. He consulted with Dr. Gross in our Lake Mary, FL, office for a breathing improvement rhinoplasty to address both his functional and cosmetic concerns.

During surgery, Dr. Gross straightened and narrowed the dorsum, using osteotomies to help support the dorsum. Most notably, he shaved down the bump (dorsal hump) on the bridge of the patient's nose, and he thinned out the nasal tip, rotating it upward slightly.

The patient's nose is now perfectly straight and it no longer droops downward. His nasal tip is no longer bulbous, his breathing has improved, and he feels much more confident. He's very happy with his results and is glad he chose Dr. Gross for this important decision!
