This 32-year-old Orlando man wanted his ears tucked back. His protruding ears had bothered him since he was a teenager. Dr. Gross performed cosmetic otoplasty using Furnas and Mustarde techniques to achieve these natural results, which are permanent. Patients return to work in 1 week, and the procedure is done as an outpatient in our Lake Mary, FL, surgery center. Sutures dissolve in 1 week. Exparel, a long-lasting local anesthetic, is used to reduce discomfort.
