What is computer imaging?
Computer imaging is the highly technical digital process which allows Dr. Gross to make changes to your face, profile and erase problem areas. A side by side before and after image analysis can them be done with comprehensive and detailed measurements.
Dr. Gross will morph your before and after images to see what you would look like after treatment. Dr. Gross also uses these photos as a template to work from in surgery and to plan your individualized skin care or laser therapy.
How accurate is computer imaging?
This mostly depends on the physician, his experience and expertise. Dr. Gross is very accurate with the imaging process and is very candid with each patient. Dr. Gross will clearly communicate realistic goals and expectations with each patient. Of course, there is no guarantee that he can make the image and the surgical outcome the same as medical procedures are not always predictable.
Will I be able to take a copy of the images with me?
We provide the computerized images for each patient via e-mail following your consultation. You will be able to view these images at home on your PC and share with family and friends
Viewing the images in the comfort of your own home will allow you to understand Dr. Gross' artistic details, which resonate with our patients.
